Not every project needs whole-home design management. Sometimes the scope is defined, a kitchen that needs a real designer, a primary suite that's been on the list for years, a new construction finish package that needs someone making cohesive decisions instead of choosing from a builder's limited options.
Room Design covers a defined scope with the same rigor and the same hands-on involvement as a full-service project. I work directly with your general contractor throughout, on site to confirm the work matches the design, and manage the same decisions I would on a whole-home engagement.
What changes is the size of the project, not how present I am in it.

layout, cabinetry, countertops, backsplash, appliance placement, lighting, hardware. Whether the kitchen involves structural changes or a surface-level redesign, this is typically the highest-value room to get right. -

primary suite bathrooms, guest baths, powder rooms. Layout, tile, fixtures, vanity, lighting, all specified for the life being lived in them. -
Material and finish selections
For homeowners building new construction or renovating who need a designer specifying every finish so the home reads as cohesive rather than assembled. This is where builder-grade gets left behind.

Room Design Process
Room Design follows the exact same process as a full-service project, the same rigor, the same involvement, scaled to a smaller defined space.
What's included: Like every project I take on, this starts with the same in-home design session, a paid, two-hour walkthrough that turns a general sense of investment into a real, specific scope and estimate. Every Room Design engagement includes a detailed scope agreement at the outset, so you know exactly what's included before anything begins. From there, I handle the same things I would on a larger project, just contained to your space: full specifications, sourcing, procurement, and installation, managed and executed by me, start to finish.
Right For: Single-room renovations, kitchen and bathroom projects, new construction finish selections, and any defined-scope project that doesn't require whole-home coordination.
Not Right For: Projects involving structural changes throughout the whole home, or more than one or two rooms happening at the same time, those are usually better served by full-service design, where one coordinated plan covers everything at once.
