Furnishings, Decoration, and Styling

For the home that’s finished being built, and not yet finished being lived in

Some homes don't need construction. They need someone to finally finish the sentence.
A new build that's move-in ready but still feels cold, like a showroom. A house you've lived in for years where half the rooms never got past "good enough." A second home that needs to feel like yours from the day you walk in, not the year after.

This is where I come in without a single wall moving. Furniture selection, art, window treatments, styling: the layer that turns your well-built house into your home.

Jamie House Design in Centennial CO offers furniture and decorating as a stand alone service.

INCLUDES

  • Furniture selection and space planning, so every piece is scaled correctly to the room it's in.

  • Art selection and placement; original work, not mass produced pieces, chosen for the wall it's going on.

  • Window treatments, rugs, lighting, and the smaller details that make your house feel like your home.

  • And where it's wanted, working with what you already own: reupholstering a piece you love,
re-arranging furniture that never quite found its place, layering in new pieces around the ones with real history.

HOW IT WORKS

This starts the same way every project does: a two-hour in-home design session, walking the space together and talking through how you actually want to live in it. For a furnishings-only project, that visit is often where the whole plan comes together; what stays, what's added, what the room is missing that you couldn't quite name yourself.

The in-home session is $500, credited in full toward the project if you move forward within 60 days.

Jamie House Design selects from a wide range of vendors and sources to provide unique and high-quality furnishings for her clients.

SOURCING

The right home doesn't announce every decision, it just works, room after room, in a way your guests can feel but can't quite name. That's the craft in this kind of project: not filling rooms, but pulling a whole house into one coherent feeling. A paint color in the hallway that answers the color three rooms away. A piece of art hung exactly where your eye lands when you walk through the front door. An antique set close enough to a brand new item so the two start a conversation instead of competing.

Real character comes from mixing sources: trade-only vendors, custom fabricators, a vintage dealer nobody else has found, a Colorado craftsman, pieces found through relationships built over 24 years designing across three continents. The goal is always the same one: your guests walk in, look around, and land on some version of "I don't know what you did in here, but it's completely you."

Jamie House Design furnishings and styling service is perfect for the homeowner whose home never feels finished.
Jamie House Design furnishings services are not right for clients that require construction.

RIGHT FOR
The home that's technically finished and still feels like it's waiting for something.

The new construction that's beautiful and entirely blank, with nothing yet that tells anyone who actually lives there.

The house you've lived in for years, room by room, where the furniture arrived faster than any real plan for it did, so nothing quite talks to anything else.

The second home you want to walk into and feel instantly at ease in, the way you already do in the one you've lived in for a decade.

This is the work of turning "nice house" into "wait, who did this?" The reaction people have when a home feels specifically, unmistakably like the people living in it, not like it was staged to sell.

NOT RIGHT FOR
Projects involving layout changes, construction, or renovation, those are better served by partial services or full-service design, which manage the building work this service doesn't touch.

“Jamie House Design was invaluable to us after we purchased a second home. We started from scratch and needed advice on paint colors, window coverings, wallpaper, rugs, furnishings, and decorative items... She was always responsive and diplomatic. Now, as I look around our home, I am so thankful for Jamie House Design every day.”
