Residential Interior Design
Elevated Living. (Both Kinds.)
At 5,280 feet, you're already living at altitude. Your home should feel like it. I design spaces in Centennial, Littleton, Highlands Ranch, and Castle Pines that make daily life genuinely better; the kind of rooms you don't want to leave, the kitchen that makes cooking feel easy, the bedroom that lets you rest. Good design does that. Let's do that for you.
Residential design is deeply personal; your home is where your real life happens, not the curated version. My process starts with understanding how you actually live in your space: how your mornings unfold, where things pile up, what drives you crazy about your current kitchen, and what you'd never want to change. That understanding shapes everything that follows. The result isn't a home that looks designed. It's a home that works beautifully, feels unmistakably like you, and gets better the longer you live in it.
Whether you're renovating a home you've outgrown, building something new in Castle Pines, or finally tackling the room you've been putting off for years, I manage every detail from the first architectural decision through installation day. Twenty-four years of experience, an architectural minor, and deep knowledge of South Denver's specific housing stock mean I know what's possible in your home and exactly how to get there.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE
We start with a thorough discovery process. I want to understand how you actually use your home, not the aspirational version, the real one. Where does friction happen in your daily routine? What doesn't work? What's been on the list for three years because no one's tackled it? Those answers shape the design more than any inspiration image.
From there I develop full space plans, detailed finish schedules, cabinetry and millwork drawings, lighting design, and a complete furniture and materials program. Every decision is made before construction starts, which means your contractor has clear direction and there are no expensive surprises mid-project.
During construction I'm on site regularly, coordinating with your contractor, solving problems before they become your problems. At installation I manage everything; furniture, art, window treatments, accessories, styled and finished the way it was designed to be.

Frequently Asked Questions

That's often the best time to get a designer involved. Before a contractor is selected, I can help you understand what the project requires; scope, sequencing, what kind of contractor you need, and what questions to ask before you sign anything. I've worked with contractors throughout Centennial, Littleton, and Highlands Ranch for years and I'm happy to make introductions when the time is right. A clear design direction also means better contractor bids: you're comparing apples to apples instead of trying to evaluate proposals that interpreted your project differently.
-
Yes. I collaborate effectively with clients' preferred contractors. I've also built relationships with contractors in Centennial, Littleton, and Highlands Ranch over years of local work, and I'm happy to make introductions if you're starting fresh.
-
As early as possible. The best new construction projects I've worked on started at framing. That's when finish selections, millwork profiles, lighting rough-in, and plumbing locations are still decisions rather than corrections. The later I come in, the more we're working around choices that are already locked.
-
That's what Partial Services are for. Full residential design is a whole-home engagement. If you need professional design for a defined scope, Partial Services is the right fit.
-
For both full-service and room design services I give an estimated cost that’s based on the hours I anticipate your project taking. I provide a detailed proposal before work begins so you understand the investment upfront.
-
Yes! I often design comprehensive renovations that are implemented in phases. This allows clients to spread the investment over time while maintaining a cohesive long-term vision.
-
A client with a clear point of view is easier to design for than one who doesn't know what they want.
My job isn't to impose a look; it's to understand what you're drawn to and make it work in your specific space. I'll push back if something won't hold up, won't fit, or will read differently in your light than it does on a screen, that's the expertise you're paying for.
The goal is always a home that feels like you, not like me.
