Every designer has a home that becomes the laboratory, the place where you stop managing risk and start making choices purely because you want to see how it turns out.
This 1920s Houston Heights bungalow was that home for me. Custom built-ins designed around antique lighting sourced to match antique lighting already in the home, a bathroom remodel that didn't disturb the original bones, furniture and art gathered over twenty years.
The house already had personality. I just helped it speak up.
